FAQs
Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture. The best by date is labeled on the bottom of our jars. Store in a cool dry place.
Sure, product can be stored in the refrigerator, however it may be more difficult to spread when stored in a cold climate.
We aim to ship products within 48-72 hours. However, depending on stock, order volume, and time of year, shipping may take longer. We make fresh batches for customers, so while it may take a little longer than expected, it is worth the wait.
Currently we use the following allergens: peanuts, tree nuts (including but not limited to almonds, cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts, coconut, pecans), egg white, soy, and sesame seed. As an SQF certified facility, we have a label verification process to ensure the product is properly labeled and a rigorous allergen control program to prevent cross contact. However we cannot guarantee a product without a certain allergen listed in the ingredients does not contain trace amounts of another facility allergen. If you have allergies to any of our facility allergens, we strongly recommend erring on the side of caution and avoiding our products entirely.
Since we started this program, we have contributed to the following organizations:
We do not use gluten in our facility, however we are not currently certified gluten free. Our goal is to achieve gluten free certification by the end of 2025.
Natural nut butters will separate over time. Our products are all natural and may separate over time. We recommend stirring before use. Storing the product properly in a cool, dry climate will slow down this process. One trick we suggest is to store the jars upside down so the oil separates at the bottom of the jar instead of the top.
